3D VISOR PRINTING

The printing of 3D Visors as PPE equipment for front line services committed during the Corona Virus epidemic is continuing at pace.

The group involved, called ‘Frontline 3D’ is now a group of 20 print farms extending from Swansea to Aberystwyth. They are 3D printing a design that has been developed by Dimitris Pletsas, Nantgaredig and the collaboration is being coordinated by him and Rob at Amman Valley Maker Space. #teuluNant is heavily involved in the manufacture and distribuition. They have orders for 2000 and have already delivered 500 to hospital and medical facilities ranging from Morriston Hospital to Glangwili to Bronglais hospital and all points between. They are able to produce several hundred every day.

The distribution is being run by Nicola Maliphant and please contact her if you feel that you can help. There is a cost involved and donations are very welcome and can be made to https://www.gofundme.com/f/1ypsl074qo .

Any money over at the end will be donated top the schools that have lent their 3D printers to the project
